Course Description

The Clinical Engineering Department at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSH&RC) is committed to provide graduates of Clinical/Biomedical Engineering with the necessary knowledge and skills to prepare them for their future enrolment with allied health professional services. The internship-training program focuses on enriching interns’ theoretical knowledge in addition to enhancing their practical and hands-on training.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this training, the trainee will be able to:

Identify technical processes related to medical equipment from Services/Operation Manual
Apply test equipment for medical equipment calibration malfunction
Use technical database for medical equipment in case of reported technical problems
Demonstrate technical steps of replacing parts of medical equipment given in the Services/Operation Manual
