The Basics of Bioinformatics Internship provides fundamental training in genomic bioinformatics, aiming to provide a complete understanding of handling and processing genomic biological data. It is a one-month training rotation covering the basics of genomic data processing, including storage, manipulation, analysis and interpretation of biological data, especially data on nucleic acids and amino acids. It includes study of molecular rules and systems that govern or affect the structure, function and evolution of various forms of genomics from computational approaches. The intern will be able to understand the clinical application of bioinformatics, data programming methods and data science for bioinformatics.
