This comprehensive training program has been designed to equip participants with the fundamental knowledge and skills required to perform NCS and assist neurologists or neurophysiologists in conducting EMG procedures. Throughout this apprenticeship, participants will gain a deep understanding of the principles and techniques involved in NCS and EMG. These diagnostic tests play a vital role in evaluating and diagnosing various neurologic conditions, and apprentices will have the opportunity to support the healthcare team in providing accurate and reliable results. They will also learn techniques to eliminate artifacts and ensure the quality of the NCS recordings.

 By the end of this training, the trainee will be able to:

2. Explain hand hygiene and infection control
3. Explain procedure to the patient
4. Take complete patient history
5. Apply electrodes
6. Eliminate artefacts
7. Conduct NCS independently
