The Neurophysiology Laboratory - Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) program at our esteemed facility is a comprehensive training program designed to equip aspiring healthcare professionals with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in conducting neurophysiological studies and monitoring patients in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. Furthermore, participants will learn the intricacies of head measurement, accurate electrode application, and secure placement of electrodes. This knowledge will enable them to obtain optimal impedance, eliminate artifacts, and ensure the delivery of accurate and reliable results in diverse medical procedures

By the end of this training, the trainee will be able to:

1. Take complete patient history
2. Describe pre and post procedure steps
3. Communicate procedure steps to the patient / attendant
4. Perform EEG
5. Perform SEEG
6. Perform WADA test
7. Draw electrode placement graphs
8. Generate montages
