The Apprenticeship Training Plan in Evoked Potentials (EP) is a specialized program aimed at providing trainees with the essential knowledge and skills required to perform EP tests and provide objective information to neurologists and neurophysiologists for diagnostic reports. This comprehensive program focuses on developing expertise in conducting various types of EP tests, including Flash and Pattern Shift Visual Evoked Potentials (VEP), upper and lower Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SSEP), and Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potentials (BAEP) As the training progresses, trainees will perform EP procedures under supervision, gradually gaining the necessary proficiency and confidence to conduct tests independently.

 By the end of this training, the trainee will be able to:

1. Explain steps of patient identification
2. Discuss hand hygiene and infection control
3. Explain the procedure to the patient / family
4. Take complete and relevant history
5. Measure patient’s head
6. Apply and secure electrodes
7. Complete the procedure independently
