The Apprenticeship Training Program focuses on developing trainees' proficiency in various aspects of esophageal diagnostics. The program aims to enable trainees to independently perform esophageal manometry for adult and pediatric patients, conduct 24-hour pH studies, and utilize wireless pH capsule technology. Trainees will become adept at identifying different types of manometer props for adults and pediatrics, as outlined in the Handbook of Gastrointestinal Motility and Functional Disorders. They will acquire the skills to perform manometer procedures within a 10-day timeframe and apply wireless pH capsules on adult patients.

By the end of this training, the trainee will be able to:

1. Identify different types of manometer props for adults and pediatrics following the guidelines of the Handbook of Gastrointestinal Motility and Functional Disorders.
2. Perform manometer procedures for adults and pediatrics in 10 days.
3. Apply wireless pH capsule on adults.
4. Calculate proper measurements of Lower Esophageal Sphincter (LES).
