The Histology Lab Training Program is designed to thoroughly prepare trainees to apply basic Immunohistochemistry (IHC) techniques effectively in their professional settings. This program delves into essential histological skills and knowledge areas, including basic chemistry, gross and microanatomy, as well as fixation, embedding techniques, microtomy, and special stains. It emphasizes the importance of understanding the processes involved in preparing frozen sections and the operation of various machines used for processing samples. By the end of this training, the trainee will be able to:

1. Apply concepts of basic chemistry, gross anatomy, microanatomy, fixation, embedding techniques, microtomy and special stains
2. Recognize the importance of frozen sections
3. Describe the different machines used for processing samples
