IELTS Focus-Task 2 Writing is suitable for Academic test takers at a range of English proficiency levels. It is not intended to be an English language course; however, it is designed to give test takers an overview of Task 2 writing, and some practice in essential skills necessary for doing well on Task 2 writing.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

Implement techniques for improving Task 2 writing;
Be able to recognize the task and use appropriate lexical resource for it;
Demonstrate the ability to identify question type and how to write each type in less time;
Demonstrate the ability to complete Task 2 in less time;
Show noticeable improvement in the reduction of structural and grammatical errors.
