The IELTS Preparation course is suitable for Academic test takers at a range of English proficiency levels. It is not intended to be an English language course; however, it is designed to give test takers an overview of the format of IELTS, and some practice in essential skills necessary for doing well on the exam.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this course, students should be able to:

· Understand and use different test-taking strategies

· Demonstrate new skills in their approach to IELTS

· Display improvement in lexical usage and understanding in relevant sections

· Produce writing samples within allotted time limits

· Speak on a variety of topics within allotted time limits
