Course Description
The Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Training Program is meticulously crafted to equip trainees with comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge in performing PET/CT Heart (13N-Ammonia) procedures. Over a period of four months, participants will gain in-depth technical expertise about cardiac PET scans and the various radioisotopes used in the field. The program covers essential aspects such as patient preparation indications and contraindications of the procedure, and detailed steps involved in conducting the scan. Trainees will learn to acquire high-quality images using the correct parameters and processing methods, ensuring precise and reliable results. Emphasis is also placed on delivering exceptional patient care with professionalism and ethical values. Furthermore, the program aims to help trainees identify and overcome their weaknesses while recognizing and building on their strengths, fostering confidence and competence in performing PET/CT procedures
