The Semen Analysis & Sperm Preparation Training Program is tailored to provide trainees with the necessary techniques and methodologies for accurately analyzing semen specimens and effectively separating spermatozoa from seminal plasma. This program focuses on teaching the appropriate counting methods, whether manual or automated, for semen analysis according to internal policy and procedures. Participants will learn to identify specific parameters of each semen sample, recognize specimens devoid of sperm, and understand the implications of these findings. Additionally, the training includes detailed discussions on the ten different diagnoses that can be derived from semen analysis, equipping trainees with a comprehensive skill set

By the end of this training, the trainee will be able to:

1. Determine the method used to analyze a semen sample (whether manual or automated semen analysis).
2. Apply the correct method for analyzing the semen sample based on Internal Policy and Procedures for Semen Analysis & Sperm Preparation.
3. Identify the parameters of each semen sample separately.
4. Recognize specimens that do not contain sperm.
