for Genomic Medicine: Established in 2011, the Medical
Genetics Program is the country’s leading tertiary referral center for genetic
diseases. It provides diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of genetic
disorders, specializing in lysosomal storage disorders through stem cell
transplantation and enzyme replacement therapy. The program also pioneered
the first independent genetic counseling service and prevention genetics
program in Saudi Arabia.
- Animal
Research Facility: Explore KFSHRC’s advanced animal
research facility, which supports translational research and preclinical
studies essential for developing innovative therapies and improving
patient care.
